水冷式射頻治療椎間盤源性疼痛的原理

椎間盤源性痛症是由於一個或多個椎間盤的退化性病變（如髓核紊亂，纖維環撕裂或終板病變）。正常纖維環內沒有痛楚神經，但椎間盤纖維環撕裂後，痛楚神經末稍會伸延至纖維環內。當椎間盤受壓及退化，便會刺激纖維環後緣內的神經末梢，導致難以忍受的低腰背痛。水冷射頻能幅蓋纖維環後緣內的多餘的神經末梢，而溫度可精確可控，因此能安全地封閉新生的痛楚神經末稍。同時大面積的射頻能量作用於椎間盤內可引起椎間盤的皺縮，達到椎間盤減壓的效果。兩者的協同作用即可緩解患者的疼痛。
